Open Source Innovation for the Teaching Community
The Open-Sankoré IWB Open Source software allows to write, erase, enlarge, reduce, and include contents into a lesson using texts, pictures, movies, animations, graphs, or simulators. It further allows storage of the resource produced for the pupil and the didactic contents for the teacher to conduct the class. This resource can continuously be improved, updated, or completed by the teachers themselves.
The teacher can download the teaching materials on the Sankoré Portal or transfer them onto USB sticks. Using the Open-Sankoré IWB Open Source software, teachers can always adapt the teaching materials to their own way of teaching.
The Sankoré program was developed by the French "Public Interest Group for Digital Education in Africa" (GIP ENA), also called the "Interministerial Delegation for Digital Education in Africa" (DIENA).
