Disruptive Engineering Education for Sustainable Development

This prestigious event, held for the first time in India, features the IX World Engineering Education Forum (WEEF) and the XV Global Student Forum (GSF). This is the largest engineering education gathering in the world and brings together a large number of stakeholders, including engineering educators, leaders, students, industry, governmental organizations, non-governmental organizations, etc., to learn, share, and build fruitful and long-term collaborations.  will host the combined WEEF-GSF 2019 event.

The main theme of WEEF2019 is "Disruptive Engineering Education for Sustainable Development". There are five sub-themes:

• disruptions in student centered learning
• disruptions in the process of engineering education
• disruption in institute-industry interaction
• disruptive technologies
• socio-economic development through disruption

Around 1,000 delegates are expected to participate in WEEF 2019. With AICTE as an academic partner of WEEF 2019, the technological institutes affiliated with AICTE will have a very good opportunity to interact and collaborate with the leading engineering institutes across the globe toward enhancement of the quality of engineering education.
